A RAVEN AMONG SONGBIRDS

Epic Fantasy · 121,000 words · Standalone with series potential

A fugitive princess hides among a traveling troupe—songstress by night, killer when cornered. The Imperial soldier sent to hunt her infiltrates the troupe. Neither of them expects to fall in love. But in a war-scarred empire where fire magic is heresy and loyalty is a death sentence, their secrets won't stay buried. When they surface, there's no version of love that doesn't look like treason.

Appealing to fans of the moral complexity in Joe Abercrombie's The First Law and the high-stakes, hunted-lovers dynamic of The Serpent and the Wings of Night.

“Once in a millennium or so, two fierce songs collide—by fate or by chance—and the world bends around their harmony.”
